Wie wat bewaart, heeft wat….
Soms vind je kostbare schatten in je eigen huis. Kijk eens wat ik vond op zolder!
Ik weet wel wat ik samen met Juliëtte en Merlijne ga doen als ze straks uit school komen: View masteren!

    Wat leuk Barbara!

    Het is weer eens wat anders dan Playstation,Nintendo,DS.etc.

    En dan te weten dat het systeem voor stereofoto’s in 1938 uitgevonden werd door de Amerikaanse Duitser William Gruber
    In de oorlog werd het systeem voor opleidingen gebruikt door het Amerikaanse ministerie van defensie.

    In het medisch onderwijs werd het View Master-systeem regelmatig gebruikt als toevoeging bij boeken die belangrijke structuren in 3D moesten uitleggen, zoals anatomie en de uitleg van chirurgische ingrepen.

    Na de oorlog werd View-Master bij het algemene publiek populair, en lag het in iedere speelgoedwinkel.

    Jij hebt een hele verzameling,en mooie kijker van bakeliet, en ik kan je verzekeren dat de verzamelaar hier van gaat kwijlen.

    Wij hebben uit de jonge jaren van manlief nog een toverlantaarn op zolder staan met heel veel filmpjes in ronde kartonnen doosjes.
    Sprookjes die we nog wel eens draaiden op een groot wit laken,voor onze kinderen, maar ik pasten de ondertiteling bij sommige filmpjes wel aan in mijn eigen woorden, het was in de zeventigerjaren een ”beetje” grof,hard en opvoedkundig niet verantwoord wat daar te lezen stond.

    Moet het toch weer eens van zolder halen, kan me herinneren dat er echte beelden van de watersnoodramp in 1953 bij zitten en DAF, en de rest is al zolang geleden dat ik het niet meer weet.
    Des te groter zal de verrassing zijn bij het uitpakken;-)

    Wauw! Wat leuk zeg. Een tijdje geleden (niet heel lang, want ik blog net) schreef ik ook over de viewmaster en nu zie ik dat jij een aantal van dezelfde hebt! En de kinderen vinden het nog steeds super!
