Mijn oudste kind deed vandaag een workshop: Het paard als leermeester.
Een paard laat je zien wat jouw gedrag teweeg brengt bij anderen. Een paard is een vluchtdier en reageert meteen op wat jij doet of uitstraalt. Voor paarden zijn Respect,Vertrouwen en Echtheid belangrijke principes. Sta jij stevig in de wereld en straal je dat ook uit? Een paard zal dan niet zo snel de neiging hebben om “over je heen te lopen”. Ben je bang of straal je onzekerheid uit? Een paard zal dan de neiging hebben om “een loopje met je te nemen”.
Een échte verbinding aangaan….van mens tot dier….van ziel tot ziel…in puur vertrouwen…dat was het doel vandaag.

Maar hoe doe je dat in een enorm groot weiland met 3 loslopende paarden?
Eropaf dan maar…..

Nog niet zo eenvoudig.
De paarden reageren uitgelaten op de groep, toch wel zenuwachtige, kinderen en rennen van de ene naar de andere kant van het weiland.

Toch lukt het na een tijdje om wat rust te krijgen en een voorzichtige kennismaking te hebben.
De paarden doen net of ze verschrikkelijk druk zijn met eten maar houden de kinderen continu in de gaten.

Zo mooi om te zien hoe mijn meisje genoot van de verschillende oefeningen. Het is voor haar heel leerzaam om te merken dat ze puur vanuit haar eigen kracht, invloed heeft op de reacties van anderen.

En hoe mooi is het dan als er uiteindelijk een écht contact ontstaat tussen puber en paard.

Dit is wat ze zei na de workshop:

“Pas als je echt jezelf bent, gaat het contact vanzelf”.
“Als je je anders voordoet dan dat je bent,krijgt je ook niet de goede aandacht terug”.
“Je leert om anderen de ruimte geven om te laten zijn wie zij zijn”.

    Ohhh wat mooi die prachtige Friese paarden. Ik hou daar zo van. En je lieve dochter daarbij die zoveel heeft geleerd. Ontroerend.

    Jammer van de zweep, dat geeft toch een andere laag aan de relatie met het paard.

      Nee die zweep was om afstand te creëren. Dit paard zou anders zó je ruimte in denderen. De zweep werd zeker niet (mis) gebruikt voor de paarden. Deze paarden kennen “de zweep” niet als zodanig….

    Prachtig. Een kennis van me heeft dat ook gedaan, maar dan in combinatie met familieopstellingen. Was erg leerzaam. Wat kan je dochter goed verwoorden wat ze geleerd heeft.

    Jah prachtige paarden, mijn vriendin heeft ook een stel van deze ( en een klein wit shetje voor dr kinderen), maar echt ik ben elke keer versteld van hoe vriendelijk en zacht deze reuzen zijn. prachtige foto’s ook 🙂

    Paarden zijn zulke gevoelige dieren, die pikken alles op.
