So long Summer.
Hello Autumn!

Ik ben echt een Herfst typje.
Elk seizoen heeft zo haar eigen charme maar de Herfst komt bij mij „het meest binnen”.

In deze tijd (Herfst/Michaëlstijd) keren we naar binnen, net als dat we dat letterlijk doen omdat de dagen kouder en korter worden.
Tijd om het uitbundige van de zomer gedag te zeggen. Te stoppen met al het licht buiten onszelf te zoeken. Het wordt tijd om het buitenlicht uit te doen en de lichtjes binnen aan te steken. Letterlijk en figuurlijk.
Bij het naar binnen keren worden we uitgenodigd om aan de slag te gaan met onze „Draken”. Voor welke dingen willen we niet langer weglopen of onze ogen sluiten? Waar willen we aan werken om meer innerlijke rust te krijgen? Welke dingen komen steeds maar wéér op ons pad? Dingen waarvan we altijd geloofden dat ze ons per toeval troffen. Michaëlstijd laat ons zien dat die dingen ons juist herhaaldelijk „toevallen” omdat er blijkbaar nog iets te leren valt.

Natuurlijk kun je dit zweverig gezemel vinden; of zelfs onzin. Natuurlijk kun je „de weg naar binnen” ook niet maken. Niet bewust althans. Onbewust doet de natuur dat wél. Dat is de kringloop van een jaar. Een jaar met 4 seizoenen die in elkaar overgaan. En het mooie ervan is: mocht je dit jaar nog niet toe zijn aan de confrontatie met sommige interne dingen, volgend jaar dient zich weer een Michaëlsperiode aan 😉

    Jeetje, zo had ik er nog nooit naar gekeken, zeg. Mooie manier om zo te denken. Mijn draak is meerkoppig, maar het belangrijkste is om de komende drie maanden zo vreugdevol door te komen, terwijl ik mijzelf overbodig ga maken voor het team. Nah. Prima uitdaging, toch? 😉
