Wij zijn hier thuis in de kerst-zelfmaak-modus…

Ieder zijn/haar eigen kwaliteiten dus ben ik (samen met Merlijne) bezig met het maken van kerstboomhangers van vilt.

(kwestie van tekenen, dubbel uitknippen en festoneren)

En onze houtman maakt houten hangers.

Straks, met nog allemaal gekleurde linten eraan, hebben wij een DIY kerstboom!

Jarenlang hadden wij een kunstkerstboom maar bij onze verhuizing kwam ik erachter dat het gevaarte niet op zolder achter de opbergschotten past. Ik heb hem, na jarenlange trouwe dienst, naar de kringloop gebracht. Nu verheug ik me erg op een échte kerstboom in huis. De geur, de sfeer….ik hou ervan!
EVEN ging ik twijfelen toen mijn Lief-de-hout-man met het volgende idee kwam…

Geen naalden in je huis. Geen gedoe met-of-zonder-kluit. Ik moet zeggen; het is wel een erg aanlokkelijk idee. De geur van hout staat me ook wel aan. Met een schroefboormasjien haal je ‘m zó weer uitelkaar en je kan ‘m het jaar erop weer eenvoudig in elkaar zetten. Het past wel bij ons…

Maarrrr ik ga toch voor een echte dit jaar. Misschien durf ik het volgend jaar wel aan!

    Oh wat mooi..
    vooral de houten hangers.
    Ik vind de houten kerstboom ook geweldig,
    past helemaal bij jullie!
    Hier altijd een echte boom,
    maar twijfel of ik dit jaar een
    super lelijk wit plastiek exemplaar kopen zal.
    Vind ook wel een keer grappig voor de verandering.
    Eerst onze verjaardagen maar even door komen.

    Joh, dan doe je het toch gewoon allebei hahahaha in elke hoek van de kamer een boom 😉
    Ik vind de houten hangers super trouwens…. heb er toevallig een paar gekocht. Mijn boom (een super neppie) wordt behangen met natuurlijke versiersels (althans dat is het plan).

    Wat leuk! Ik ben erg benieuwd naar het eindresultaat. Zo DIY boom vind ik ook gaaf!
    Wij hebben altijd een nepperd staan, maar ik ga denk ik dit jaar maar eens kijken voor een echte.

    Een echte boom hier, altijd! Vol met oude kerstballen van toen ik nog een ukkie was, makksels van de kinderen en gekregen hangers van lieve (A&K) vrienden. Mooie hangers maken jullie!

    Een echte natuurlijk! Het gesleur met zo’n boom door de kou en dan die naalden, dat hoort voor mij echt bij kerst! Mijn man gaat nog wat verder en vind dat ‘ie hem zelf uit het bos moet halen… Ben benieuwd of hij het dit jaar echt gaat doen! Nu nog even niet trouwens. Ik doe het altijd een week voor kerst en laat hem vervolgens lekker lang staan!

    Ik vind die houten kerstboom echt superleuk. Heel praktisch ook. Daar hou ik wel van.
    Wij hebben thuis een kunstboom. Maar meestal gaan wij met de kerst naar Zweden en dan halen we er daar eentje vers uit het bos. (dit jaar niet trouwens, kerst valt een beetje ongunstig)

    en bij ons komt een zaterdag de kerstboom weer te staan en wij hebben een kunstboom,wij vinden het ideaal.

    Een echte. Met kluit. Deze week vroeg ik me voor het eerst af waarom ik er altijd eentje haal met kluit. Vaak geen potgrond meer in voorraad, en al met al een heel gedoe. Maar dat komt wellicht omdat ik hem hier altijd bij de vaste kerstbomenboer haal? 🙂 Maar de geur en de zooi van de naalden hoort er voor mij toch een beetje bij. (maar ik heb dan ook geen vloerbedekking)

    Leuke maaksels. Is de alternatieve kerstboom van Houtman niet leuk in het klein? Voor in de keuken of zo? 😉

    Die houten versie zou ik zelf ook wel zien zitten. Misschien goed idee voor volgend jaar (als ik een klusslachtoffer kan vinden).
    Bij ons zit de kerstsfeer er al in. Een grotere (nep)boom in de leefkeuken en een kleine in het salon.

    Mooie DIY frutsels Din! De houten boom heb ik dit jaar toevallig voor mijn surprise gemaakt! IK vond hem ZO mooi…ik had hem zelf willen houden.
    Nu staat er een echte in de hoek, hysterisch aangekleed met alle kleuren van de regenboog EN gekleurde lampjes. Afijn…je zult het wel zien straks 😉

    (ik geloof zelfs dat we nog ergens een plekje hebben voor een vilten ornamentje :-)))))
