Na lange zoektochten naar dé leukste eettafel besloten we dat Mike er zelf eentje zou gaan maken. VEUL goedkoper dan de eettafels die we mooi vonden in verschillende winkels.
Ons motto is: “Als je iets zelf maakt kun je het net zo maken als je zelf mooi vindt”.
Zo wilden we graag een houten tafelblad dat er stoer en stevig uitzag. Niet zo’n iel dun blad. Ook wilden we graag dat de tafel een industriële uitstraling kreeg.
Dat industriële tintje kreeg de tafel door steigerbuizen te gebruiken.
Het resultaat is een prachtige stoere tafel. En doordat ie zelfgemaakt is voelt de tafel al meteen vanaf de eerste minuut “eigen”. Er zit meteen sfeer in. Dat heb je veel sneller met zelfgemaakte dingen dan met gekochte dingen, vind ik.
Toen begon de zoektocht naar eetkamerstoelen. En hoe handig mijn Mike ook is, eetkamerstoelen maken behoort niet tot één van zijn uitdagingen 😉
Wij zijn dol op Loods 5 (Amersfoort).
Daar vonden we onze eetkamerstoelen!
Is het geen snoepie?
We vonden er ook een stoere industriële kruk bij, in hetzelfde leer als de stoelen.
De keuken is nu echt klaar!
Afgelopen zaterdag hielden we een gezellig etentje met vrienden.
Daar is deze keuken voor gemaakt: lang tafelen in een gezellige, stoere, industriële sfeer!
Trouwens, zoals op de onderste foto te zien is, is het overdag ook heerlijk om aan de eettafel te zitten 😉

Wij hebben echt geen leefkeuken hoor. Het is een hele gewone doorsnee rijtjeshuis-keuken. Maar sfeer kan een hoop doen 😉
Prachtige tafel!!!! Waar vind je tegenwoordig nog een goeie timmerman, die wat z’n ogen zien met z’n handen maken kan?? Jij hebt er zo een en wij hadden er een(mijn vader). Onze salontafel, gemaakt zo’n 50 jaar geleden staat nog steeds in onze woonkamer. Eerst langer en van licht hout. Later ingekort na verhuizing en passend bij het interieur donkerbruin gebeitst en na de laatste verbouwing na eerder geschuurd en van de bruine laag ontdaan grey wash gebeitst. We doen hem nooit meer weg.
